The text message service allows the user to communicate with others using text & symbols with a predictive text assistance, if required. The HTC Touch HD comes with an instant messaging service which allows the user to have an instant message conversation containing text & symbols with contacts whom are online at the same time as the user. The instant messaging service works like an instant messaging service on the users PC but the phone instant messaging service is mobile. The multimedia message can contain a photo or video with sound & text which allows the user to share their experiences & surrounding with others using the phones built in 5 megapixel camera. The user can use the email service to communicate with their email contacts which allows the user to send & receive emails directly to the HTC Touch HD.

  The Bluetooth® wireless technology allows the user to connect to other Bluetooth® devices with a wirefree connection. The HTC Touch HD comes with EDGE technology which provides fast and efficient transfers and downloads. The quadband technology covers GSM 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 which will automatically switch between network bands without the user knowing and providing wide network coverage depending on network operator. The user can use a wireless or wired connection between the phone and other compatible devices and enjoy high speed data transfers thanks to the built in EDGE technology and GPRS.
